What is the orthoceras fossil?

Orthoceras (“straight horn”) is an extinct genus of Cephalopod having a long, straight, conical shell and its interior divided into numerous chambers by transverse septa. The fossils lived during the Upper Devonian period around 370 million years ago.

Traditionally, Orthoceras fossils have been used to assist in reducing tiredness, exhaustion, low energy, digestive disorders, unsettled stomach, dyspepsia, and rheumatism. Orthoceras fossils simulate thymus and are related to root chakra and are said to treat skeletal system disorders particularly hand, feet and back.
